Army porters dies in Pakistan firing in North Kashmir

Uri: An Indian army porter was killed after Pakistan army resorted to firing along the Line of Control in Uri Sector of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, Army claimed on Monday.
A Defense spokesperson who identified the slain porter as Khursheed Ahmed (37) of Nawa Runda said that said that he got bullet in neck and some grenade splinters in legs near Chaukas area and died on spot.
The spokesperson said that the slain porter was associated with 4 Army Madras Unit.
A police official from Uroosa police post while confirming the death of porter said that they handed over the body to the family after completing all the legal formalities.
