Muslim League blames Agencies for Tariq’s killing
Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Muslim League has blamed Indian Agencies for the killing of senior pro-freedom activist Tariq Ahmed Ganaie of Meemandar Shopian.
Tariq Ahmed Ganaie son of Muhammad Yaqub was shot dead by unknown gunmen at Meemandar Shopian on Thursday.
In a statement to news agency CNS, General Secretary Muslim League Muhammad Rafiq Ganaie said that Indian agencies are silencing every voice that raises against the Indian oppression in Kashmir. He said that from past 22 years Tariq has been working in the interest of Kashmir Freedom Struggle and was jailed for several times.
“Killing of Traiq who was the father of three little kids is a heinous crime which Indian agencies want to hide. Such barbaric killings won’t break the resolve of freedom loving people,” he said.
Muhammad Rafiq Ganaie while expressing sympathies with the bereaved family said that Tariq will always live in the hearts of people who will never forgive those elements responsible for this killing.
