Ahmadabad: Congress top brass Tuesday disallowed Indian television channel ‘Times Now’ from covering the press conference of Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

Times Now in recent past has been consistently criticizing Congress party and its president Rahul Gandhi while on social media this channel has become a butt of jokes and is being alleged for promoting the agenda of Narendra Modi led Bharitiya Janata Party.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to address a press conference at Ahmadabad Gujarat while the anchor of Times Now was barred and asked to leave the venue.

Pertinently, some news channels from India have virtually lost their credibility as they have been acting as the mouthpiece of Modi led BJP. Some of the infamous channels include Times Now, Republic and Zee Tv.

These channels are also being criticized for their wrong depiction of Kashmir situation.
