Army allegedly killed two porters while another is battling for life in the hospital in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning.
Locals alleged that the army fired upon three workers directly when they were intending to enter the army camp for routine work. Two as per locals died on the spot while another worker with serious injuries has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred 2.5 kilometers away from Rajouri near TCP Alpha Seva Tatha Sahayata outside Army camp.

The angry locals didn’t lift the dead bodies from the road and demanded justice and action against the guilty army personnel.
The protesters including ex-servicemen alleged that army personnel shot dead the two porters and injured another one ‘intentionally’. They identified the deceased as Surinder Kumar and Kamal Kumar.
Divulging information about the incident a former army Captain who was one among the protesters told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the incident occurred at 6:40 Friday morning. “Three workers who used to work in the army canteen were supposed to enter the army camp for work when they were directly fired upon without any warning. Two died on the spot while another worker is battling for life,” he said.

Locals staged a protest and blocked the Rajouri-Poonch highway. Some of the protesters pelted stones at the police party.
The protest was going on till the filing of this report.
Meanwhile, Army said that there was a firing incident by militants near the military hospital Rajouri, and two individuals were killed.
“In an early morning firing incident by unidentified terrorists at Rajauri near Military Hospital, there have been fatal casualty of two individuals,” army said in a tweet, adding, “The Police, security forces and civil administration officials are on the site.” (KNT)
