Police have arrested 6 alleged criminals for extorting money from naïve people in Srinagar outskirts.
The arrests have been made by police station Zakura.

Srinagar police in a tweet said that 6 members of a criminal gang involved in robberies were arrested.

The police said that the modus operandi of the gang was to threaten and extort money from people using toy pistols, Walkie Talkie sets, and other articles.
The police said that two vehicles used by the gang for criminal activities have also been seized.
A case vide FIR number 94/2022 has been registered under relevant sections of law in Zakura police station in this regard. [KNT]
