Police have vehemently refuted the reports about a Pulwama student joining militant ranks saying action will be initiated against those miscreants who used the photographs of that student making false claims.

Pertinently, photographs of a local identified as Gowhar Nabi from Murran village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district had gone viral with the claim that he has joined the militant ranks.

Police in a statement said that upon investigation, it was found that the said person hasn’t joined any militant group and is currently pursuing B.Sc cardiology at a college in Bathinda Punjab.
