The Bandipora District Administration, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, sealed a medical clinic and Dialysis Unit for operation in violation of medical codes and norms.
A team headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Umar Shafi Pandith, Chief Medical officer Bandipora along with the inspection team, inspected various clinical establishments of Bandipora district.

During the inspection, the team found a patient undergoing dialysis at Al Sadiq Clinical lab and Al Sidiq Dialysis Unit in Plan Bandipora wherein a patient was found undergoing dialysis without the presence of a doctor, which is perquisite for the dialysis process and unit was also found operating in violation of medical codes and norms.

On the occasion, ADC urged the medical practitioners in the private sector, chemists, and druggists to strictly follow the guidelines and medical ethics.
He also urged the health department to conduct frequent inspections to ensure the rules are followed by medical establishments in letter and spirit.
