Police registered a case against miscreants allegedly involved in damaging fruits in an orchard in Naribal Qaziabad area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The owner of the orchard Abdul Majeed Mala said that he was shocked to see hundreds of apples falling flat on the ground while some branches of the apple trees were also lying on the ground. “Neither there was rain nor any wind and yet apples were lying on the ground. Soon I realized that it was the handiwork of miscreants,” he told the news agency Kashmir News Trust.

The orchard spreads over 3 kanals and more than 250 to 300 boxes of apples have been knocked down by the miscreants.
