Besides the representatives of other political parties, a delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had a meeting with the visiting team of the Election Commission of India at SKICC, Srinagar.
The delegation, comprised senior leaders including Advocate R S Pathania, Advocate Parimoksh Seth, Rafiq Ahmed Wani, and Showkat Gayoor.

Later after the meeting, the BJP delegation addressed a press conference and said they are ready for the elections and the same point of view was put forth before the ECI. BJP upbraided local political parties for ‘misleading’ people that the party is not ready for the elections.
