Sonamarg, Aug 19, KNT: The Sonamarg Development Authority (SDA) today conducted yet another demolition drive to maintain and preserve the natural beauty of the Sonamarg tourist resort.
“The sole purpose of these demolition drives to stop illegal constructions and send a loud and clear message to those who take advantage of their influence and resort to illegal constructions,” an official told the news agency Kashmir News Trust.
The day-long drive was initiated after SDA received multiple complaints.

Several illegal structures were demolished, reaffirming the SDA’s commitment to maintain the integrity of Sonamarg’s natural beauty,” the official said.
The CEO of the SDA has issued a stern warning to the public, emphasizing that illegal constructions in Sonamarg will not be tolerated under any circumstances. [KNT]
