Road Accident in J&K’s Reasi Claims 3 Lives Including a Baby

Reasi, Nov 2, KNT: In a nocturnal road accident in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, three people including a 10-month-old baby were killed while three others sustained injuries.

A police official told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that an accident occurred at Chassana Chamalu mode in Reasi district involving a Maruti Suzuki Eeco (JK20C-6326) that was on its way from Kali Kote area to Chassana.

The accident resulted in the loss of three lives and left three others critically injured.

The deceased have been identified as 19-year-old Sandoor Singh, son of Sukhdev Singh, 19-year-old Kulcha Devi wife of Chankar Singh and a 10-month-old baby.

The injured have been identified as Chankar Singh, Ajay Singh, father of Janak Singh and Dundkal Singh, all residents of Mali Kote Chassana.

The condition of the injured who have been shifted to GMC Hospital are stated to be critical.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
