PM Modi Talks About Housing, Healthcare, and Education Progress at Z-Morh Tunnel Inauguration

Ganderbal, Jan 13, KNT: During the inauguration of the Z-Morh Tunnel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined India’s broader progress, emphasizing the inclusive development of every part of the country, including Jammu and Kashmir.

“Today, India is advancing towards new heights of progress. Every citizen is contributing to making India a developed nation by 2047. This vision can only be realized when no region, and no family, is left behind in development. Our government is committed to working tirelessly with the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’,” Modi said.

The Prime Minister noted the significant strides made in improving living conditions across the nation, with over 4 crore impoverished families, including those in Jammu and Kashmir, having received permanent homes.

Modi announced plans for the construction of 3 crore more homes for the poor in the near future.

Highlighting advancements in healthcare and education, Modi pointed out that millions across India, including in Jammu and Kashmir, are receiving free medical treatment.

He also emphasized the ongoing expansion of educational infrastructure, with new IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, medical colleges, nursing schools, and polytechnic colleges being established nationwide, including in Jammu and Kashmir, over the past decade.

“Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing transformative changes in both infrastructure and education, and this is just the beginning,” Modi said. [KNT]
