Omar Abdullah Rules Out Any Alliance Between NC and BJP

Srinagar, Mar 3, KNT: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday dismissed any possibility of the National Conference  aligning with the Bharatiya Janata Party, putting an end to speculation about a potential political partnership.

Reacting to comments made by BJP legislator R.S. Pathania, who hinted at a possible collaboration, Abdullah made it clear that such a scenario was neither under discussion nor feasible.

“There is absolutely no question of an alliance with the BJP. Our political ideologies and priorities stand in stark contrast, particularly on issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir. There is no room or necessity for such a partnership,” he said.
