Kathua, Apr 25, KNT: Combined Forces launched a search operation in the Chann Rorian area near the Railway Yard in Hiranagar sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on Friday.
Sources told KNT that the operation was initiated following intelligence inputs about suspicious movement in the vicinity of the railway yard. Joint teams of police and security forces cordoned off the area and carried out thorough checks in nearby fields and residential pockets.
A senior police official confirmed that the operation is part of heightened security measures being taken across the region in the aftermath of the recent Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 civilian lives. “Searches are underway to ensure there are no threats to vital installations or public safety in the area,” he said.
