Srinagar, July 26, KNT: The Directorate of Skill Development, Jammu and Kashmir, has announced a 30-day summer vacation for all Government and recognized Private Polytechnics across the Union Territory. The vacation period will be observed from July 21 to August 19, 2024, as per an official order issued by Director Skill Development, Shahzad Alam.
While the students and teaching staff will observe the break, all Principals and Heads of Departments (HODs) of Government Polytechnics have been instructed to remain at their respective stations during the vacation. The order emphasizes the need for academic leadership to utilise this period to prepare a comprehensive skilling roadmap for the region. [KNT]
