Kupwara, July 26, KNT: In a major push towards educational empowerment and youth upliftment in the Valley, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the district administrations of Kupwara, Baramulla, and Bandipora, organized the North Kashmir Education Fest-2025 at Subhan Sports Stadium, Sopore, under the theme “Taleem Se Tarakki”.

The event, aimed at guiding students towards higher education opportunities across premier Indian institutions, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 3,000 students. Reputed colleges and universities from across the country were present, offering course counseling, aptitude-based guidance, and a clear roadmap for academic and professional development.

Students explored a wide range of academic disciplines including engineering, business, humanities, sciences, arts, and social sciences. In a major boost for underprivileged and tribal students, scholarships worth Rs 3 crore were announced by the participating institutions.

The festival also served as a bridge between the youth and the armed forces, with the Indian Army’s ‘Know Your Army’ campaign introducing students to career avenues in the military, instilling a sense of discipline, service, and patriotism.
