TASK Mourns the Demise of Ghulam Nabi Bhat, Father of MC Member Nehnaz Ahmed Bhat

Srinagar, July 22, KNT: The Travel Agents Society of Kashmir (TASK) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Ghulam Nabi Bhat, father of TASK Managing Committee Member Nehnaz Ahmed Bhat, who passed away on July 21, 2025, after a prolonged illness.
According to family sources, the late Ghulam Nabi Bhat breathed his last at his residence in Iram Lane, Natipora, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, humility, and grace. His passing has been widely mourned not only by his family and relatives but also by members of the travel and tourism fraternity across the Valley.
In an official condolence message, TASK extended its heartfelt sympathies to Nehnaz Ahmed Bhat and the bereaved family, praying for strength and patience during this difficult time. “We pray to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to bestow His choicest blessings upon him,” the society said in its statement.

Several members of TASK and other trade bodies visited the family to offer condolences and express solidarity. The passing of Ghulam Nabi Bhat has left a void deeply felt by all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished by many in the community.
Funeral prayers were held in Natipora, and the final rites were performed in accordance with Islamic traditions. A large number of people, including community elders, neighbors, and business associates, participated in the funeral to pay their last respects. [KNT]
