Burglars decamp with copper worth lakhs in Srinagar’s Nowshera

 

Srinagar, Aug 25, KNT: Burglars broke into a residential house in Khawaja Pora, Nowshera area of Srinagar on the intervening night of August 24 and 25, and decamped with copper worth lakhs of rupees along with some cash.

Police said that a case has already been registered in connection with the incident, and initial investigation points to the involvement of multiple persons. CCTV footage from the locality has captured the identity of the suspects, officials confirmed.

Authorities have urged members of the public to cooperate with the investigation and share any leads that could help in nabbing the culprits. Police have also released a contact number for information sharing, requesting residents to reach out to Soura Police Station at 95960 62039.
