Srinagar, Aug 18, KNT: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has paid rich and heartfelt tributes to Sultan-ul-Aarifeen Sheikh Hamzah Makhdoom Kashmiri (RA), describing him as one of the greatest saints, reformers, and spiritual guides in the history of Kashmir.

In his message, Mirwaiz hailed Hazrat Makhdoom Sahib (RA) as a God-fearing dervish and a towering personality who dedicated his entire life to the moral and spiritual upliftment of the people of Kashmir. He said that through his dawah, reformative mission, and spiritual guidance, the revered saint played a decisive role in transforming the moral fabric of Kashmiri society.

Mirwaiz observed that the “Wali-e-Kaamil” of his time was instrumental in spreading the essence of Islamic teachings, emphasising humanity, compassion, nobility, morality, and brotherhood. “The foundation of a just and righteous society that Hazrat Makhdoom Sahib (RA) sought to build still inspires generations,” he said.
