Omar Abdullah Visits Gulistan News Executive Editor’s Residence to Offer Condolences on Uncle’s Demise

Srinagar, Aug 8, KNT: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited the residence of the Executive Editor of Gulistan News Ashfaq Gowhar at Makdhoon Sahab, Srinagar, to offer condolences on the demise of his maternal uncle.

Accompanying the Chief Minister were MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq and the Chief Minister’s Advisor, Nasir Aslam Wani.

The late Hafizullah Qadri, who passed away a few days ago after a brief illness, was remembered with special prayers for forgiveness and eternal peace.

During the visit, Omar Abdullah expressed solidarity with Ashfaq Gowhar and his family in this moment of grief.

Additionally, a condolence meeting was held in memory of the deceased, attended by relatives, friends, colleagues from the media fraternity, and well-wishers. Speakers highlighted the late Hafizullah Qadri’s humble nature, community service, and commitment to moral values, praying for strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss. [KNT]
