Ravinder Raina hails Centre’s move to introduce accountability bills in Parliament

Jammu, Aug 20, KNT: Bharatiya Janata Party’s former Jammu and Kashmir President Ravinder Raina on Wednesday welcomed the Centre’s decision to introduce three major bills in the Lok Sabha, including proposals aimed at removing holders of top constitutional posts facing serious criminal or corruption charges.

Raina said the initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening democratic accountability in the country. “For the first time in India’s history, provisions are being brought in that would allow for the removal of a Chief Minister, or any Minister, if they are facing serious criminal or corruption charges. This is a path-breaking reform to ensure clean governance,” he stated.
