Youth injured in electric shock in Central Kashmir’s Budgam

 

Srinagar, Aug 22, KNT: A 28-year-old youth from Budgam district sustained burn injuries after receiving an electric shock while working in his land on Friday.

The injured has been identified as Showket Ahmed Khanday, son of Ali Muhammad Khanday, a resident of Darwan, Charar-e-Sharif in Budgam.

Family members said Showket was busy with work in his fields when he accidentally came in contact with a live electric current. He suffered burn injuries on both his feet.

He was initially taken to Sub-District Hospital Nagam, from where doctors referred him to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.
