BJP Announces Candidates for Upcoming Assembly Bye-Elections 2025 Aga Syed Mohsin to Contest from Budgam, Devyani Rana Named for Nagrota Seat

 

New Delhi, Oct 15, KNT: The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has approved the list of candidates for the Assembly Bye-Elections 2025 scheduled to be held across several states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Telangana.

According to an official press release issued from the BJP’s central headquarters in New Delhi, the party has announced Aga Syed Mohsin as its candidate for the Budgam Assembly constituency and Sushri Devyani Rana for the Nagrota constituency in Jammu and Kashmir.

In Jharkhand, Shri Babualal Soren will contest from Ghatshila (ST), while in Odisha, the party has fielded Shri Jay Dholakia from Nuapada. For the Jubilee Hills constituency in Telangana, Lankala Deepak Reddy has been named as the BJP candidate.

The list was officially signed and released by Arun Singh, National General Secretary and Chief Spokesperson of BJP, following the approval of the Central Election Committee.

The party has stated that the selected candidates represent “strong grassroots connections and leadership potential” in their respective constituencies. [KNT]
