CM Omar Abdullah interacts with locals, lays foundation stones for multiple development projects in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Tue, Nov 18, KNT: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday laid the foundation stones for several development projects in Ganderbal during an official visit that witnessed participation from senior ministers and legislators.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Forest Minister Javed Rana, Javed Ahmad Dar, Nasir Aslam Wani, Satish Sharma, Sakina Itoo and MLA Kangan Mian Mehr Ali. Officials said the projects are part of an ongoing development plan aimed at improving infrastructure and public services across the district.

Omar Abdullah later chaired a review meeting at the Mini Secretariat where officers from all major departments, including the Deputy Commissioner of Ganderbal, were present. The meeting assessed the progress of ongoing works and discussed administrative priorities for the coming months. The Chief Minister stressed the need for timely completion of public welfare projects and directed officers to maintain close coordination with locals for efficient service delivery.

During his visit, the Chief Minister also met several public delegations who apprised him of local issues concerning water supply, road connectivity, healthcare requirements and administrative matters. He listened to their grievances and assured that genuine public demands would be addressed on priority.

Officials present during the interactions said the delegations welcomed the outreach and expressed hope for faster resolution of civic concerns.
