Kashmir schools from primary to middle to close in first week of December, says Sakina Itoo

 

Srinagar, Nov 19, KNT: Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Wednesday announced that winter vacations for students from primary to middle classes in the Kashmir division will begin in the first week of December 2025. She said the decision was taken after assessing the weather conditions across the Valley.

The Minister said that the current winter has set in early with harsh temperatures being recorded in several areas. She said the administration has already held a meeting to review the situation and examine the requirements of students during the cold spell.
