Man Held With Suspected Bhang Patri in Pulwama; FIR Registered

Pulwama, Nov 25, KNT: Police on Tuesday apprehended a man during naka checking at Newa Uggergund in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pulwama and recovered 16.800 grams of a substance resembling bhang patri from his possession.

During preliminary questioning, the individual identified himself as Muhammad Rafiq Shah, son of Bashir Ahmad Shah, a inhabitant of Shah Mohalla Newa. Police said the recovered substance has been taken into custody for further analysis.

An FIR under number 277 of 2025 has been registered at Police Station Pulwama under sections 8 and 20 of the NDPS Act. Police have initiated investigation into the matter. [KNT]
