Sunil Shetty Praises Kashmir’s Beauty During Marathon Visit

 

Srinagar, Nov 2, KNT: Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty, who participated in the second edition of the Kashmir Marathon-2025 in Srinagar, described his experience as “amazing” and hailed Kashmir as one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the event, Shetty said he was deeply impressed by the spirit of the participants and the scenic beauty of the Valley. “It was an amazing experience to be part of the Kashmir Marathon. With reference to Kashmir, I can only say, it’s ours, and it is one of the most beautiful places on earth,” the actor said.

Highlighting the growing interest of the film industry in Kashmir, Shetty revealed that two to three Bollywood films are scheduled to be shot in the Valley in the near future. “Kashmir has always been close to the heart of Indian cinema. Filmmakers are again showing keen interest, and soon you’ll see two or three big Bollywood projects being filmed here,” he noted.

The actor also appreciated the organizers for hosting such a large-scale sports event that brought together participants from across India and abroad. “International cricket is also happening in Kashmir. The presence of international cricketers like Chris Gayle and others also indicates that Kashmir is back, and I think everyone should visit this place,” he said.

The Kashmir Marathon-2025, organized to promote sports tourism and resilience, saw participation from more than 1,500 runners, including international athletes and prominent public figures. [KNT]
