Bandipora, Dec 16, KNT: An ambulance attached to the Health Centre Hajin here in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district was allegedly used to transport medical supplies from Soura in Srinagar to Hajin, triggering concerns over the misuse of vehicles meant strictly for emergency medical services.
According to local accounts, the ambulance was seen carrying supplies instead of patients, raising questions about adherence to established protocols governing the use of emergency vehicles. Locals said ambulances are designated for patient care, emergency response, and life-saving duties, and their use for logistical purposes could have serious implications for public safety.
