Ganderbal Police Arrests Alleged Absconder Wanted Since 2020

 

Srinagar, Dec 19, KNT: Ganderbal Police arrested an alleged absconder who, according to officials, had been evading appearance in a 2020 case registered at Police Station Gund.

The individual has been identified as Muhammad Munshi Gojer, son of Wali Muhammad Gojer, a inhabitant of Khanpora Nagrota. He was wanted in FIR No. 50/2020 under Sections 279 and 427 of the IPC.

Officials said the arrest followed specific information received by Police Station Gund. A police team traced the accused after what they described as sustained efforts. Once detained, the individual was taken through required legal formalities and later produced before the Court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class Kangan.
