Sinha Says Nation Stands With Families and Praises J&K Police for Recent Counter Militancy Breakthrough


Srinagar, Dec 12, KNT: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday met the families of the Nowgam accidental blast victims and handed over appointment letters on compassionate grounds. He paid tribute to the victims and said the entire nation stands with their families to ensure they live a life of comfort and dignity.
The Lieutenant Governor said the country is proud of the Jammu and Kashmir Police for stopping militants in their tracks by unearthing and dismantling a terror network last month. He appreciated what he described as the meticulous investigation and multi faceted effort of the police to detect, disrupt and prevent militant activities.
Sinha directed senior officers to disrupt the financing channels that support militant groups and to counter attempts at radicalization by certain separatist elements. He said sustained action against these networks is essential to safeguarding public safety.
