New CEOs Posted in Baramulla, Kupwara, Shopian and Udhampur

 

Srinagar, Dec 13, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday issued a major reshuffle in the School Education Department, ordering the transfer and posting of four senior officers as Chief Education Officers across the Union Territory.

According to the order, Abdul Rashid Mir, who was serving as the incharge Principal of DIET Bandipora, has been appointed the incharge Chief Education Officer Baramulla. He will also hold the additional charge of Principal DIET Sopore.

The government has also transferred Manzoor Ahmad Najar, the incharge Principal of DIET Ganderbal, posting him as the incharge CEO Kupwara. Officials said the move aims to streamline administrative functioning in the northern districts.

Similarly, Bashir Ahmad Shah, who was earlier attached to the Directorate of School Education Kashmir, has been posted as the incharge CEO Shopian.

In the Jammu division, Subash Chander Gupta, currently serving as the incharge Principal DIET Kud, has been appointed the incharge CEO Udhampur. The reshuffle takes immediate effect. [KNT]
