Two-year-old baby dies after alleged electric shock in Budgam

Budgam, Dec 27, KNT: A two-year-old baby girl died after allegedly receiving an electric shock at her residence in the Sundergund area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday.

Hospital sources said the deceased was identified as Aamina Nisar, daughter of Nisar Ahmad Mir, of Sundergund, Budgam. She was immediately rushed to District Hospital Budgam for treatment, where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.

The incident has plunged the family into grief, while locals expressed shock over the tragic death. [KNT]
