CBI raids Patwari’s residence in Ganderbal, bribe money recovered

Ganderbal, Jan 28, KNT: A team of the Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday conducted a raid at the residential house of a Patwari in Gulab Bagh area of Gadoora in Ganderbal district and arrested him in a bribery case, officials said.

The accused has been identified as Faheem Majeed Bhat, son of Abdul Majeed, posted as Patwari in the area. During the raid, the CBI team recovered a bribe amount of Rs 15,000 from his possession, officials said.

Sources said the operation was launched following specific inputs and is still underway, with further searches and verification being carried out at the premises.
