Election Commission seeks inputs to make ECINet more user-friendly

New Delhi, Jan 3, KNT: The Election Commission of India has invited suggestions from citizens to further improve the ECINet application, asking users to submit their feedback by January 10, 2026.
According to a statement issued by the Commission, citizens have been encouraged to download the ECINet app and share their suggestions through the “Submit a Suggestion” tab available on the platform. The Commission said the initiative aims to refine and enhance the app based on user experience and field-level feedback.
Officials said the trial version of the ECINet app enables improved voter services, faster availability of polling percentage trends and publication of Index Cards within 72 hours of the close of polls, a process that earlier used to take several weeks or even months. The app was successfully tested during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and subsequent by-elections.
The Commission said the platform is being continuously upgraded based on feedback from Chief Electoral Officers, District Election Officers, Electoral Registration Officers, observers and field officials. Public suggestions will also be examined, and further updates are expected to be rolled out later this month to make the app more user-friendly.
