MHA orders posting of Mukesh Singh as Ladakh police chief


Srinagar, Jan 2, KNT: The Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed Mukesh Singh as the Director General of Police of Ladakh with immediate effect, according to an official order issued on Friday.
As per the order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the posting of Mukesh Singh, IPS of AGMUT cadre, has been approved by the competent authority and will remain effective until further orders. He has been posted as DGP Ladakh on repatriation from central deputation.
The order also mentions the posting of other senior IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre. Anand Mohan, IPS has been transferred from DGP Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi, while Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal, IPS has been posted as DGP Arunachal Pradesh after serving as DGP Ladakh.
The posting order has been circulated to all concerned authorities, including chief secretaries of various states and Union Territories, for information and necessary action. [KNT]
