Minor Killed in South Kashmir Road Accident

Anantnag, Feb 15, KNT: An 11-year-old boy died in a road accident in the Rain Chowgund locality of Verinag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday, officials said.

According to officials, the minor was struck by a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK03N-3472. The victim has been identified as Numan Khursheed Itoo, son of Khursheed Ahmad Itoo, an inhabitant of Chowgund Verinag.

Soon after the accident, the injured boy was rushed to Primary Health Centre Verinag for medical treatment. However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
