Labourer Dies After Falling from Poplar Tree in Kangan


Ganderbal, March 8, KNT: A 40-year-old labourer died after falling from a poplar tree in Ari Goripora area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Khaliq Mir, a resident of Ari Goripora Kangan.
Officials said the man was reportedly working when he accidentally fell from a poplar tree, sustaining critical injuries.
He died on the spot due to the severity of the injuries, they said.
