Solar-Powered Block Library Inaugurated in Trehgam


Kupwara, Mar 4, KNT: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Shrikant Suse on Wednesday inaugurated a fully solar-powered Block Library and Reading Room at Trehgam in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The facility has been designed to provide a modern learning environment for students and aspirants in the area. The library has seating capacity for around 120 students and includes silent-study cubicles to facilitate focused preparation.
Officials said the reading room is equipped with WiFi connectivity, personal computers and CCTV surveillance. Students will also have access to several online learning platforms including Testbook, PhysicsWallah and Gemini Pro for competitive examination preparation.
The initiative aims to strengthen educational infrastructure in the area and provide students with access to digital learning resources closer to their homes. [KNT]
