SSP Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhary Assumes Charge in Shopian, Stresses Teamwork, Public Outreach, Efficient Policing
Shopian, Oct 10, KNT: Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhary (JKPS) on Friday formally assumed charge as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shopian, succeeding Anayat Ali Chowdhary (IPS).
On his arrival at the District Police Headquarters (DPO) Shopian, the new SSP was received warmly by senior police officers and presented with a ceremonial guard of honour.
A brief function was held at the DPO, where the outgoing SSP formally handed over the baton to the incumbent officer.

Soon after taking charge, SSP Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhary held an introductory meeting with senior officers of the district. He urged them to work with renewed commitment and enthusiasm to ensure prompt grievance redressal and efficient policing.
Emphasizing teamwork and public engagement, the SSP directed officers to strengthen community relations and ensure that police offices remain open and accessible to citizens at all times. [KNT]
