Srinagar Police Check Doctor and Staff Lockers in Hospitals

Srinagar, Nov 24, KNT: Srinagar Police, in coordination with medical officers from the Health Department, on Monday conducted inspections of lockers used by doctors and staff across district hospitals, private hospitals, medical colleges and PHCs in the city as part of an ongoing security and accountability drive.

Officials said the inspections were carried out to prevent any misuse of lockers for unauthorized storage of illegal or hazardous material and to reinforce internal security protocols within medical institutions. All racks and lockers were examined during the exercise, and hospital staff were advised to maintain proper records and ensure that lockers are used strictly for official purposes.

Authorities said such inspections will continue as part of routine vigilance aimed at maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere in health facilities.

Srinagar Police said it remains committed to ensuring the safety of citizens and upholding overall security within the city. [KNT]
