Fire Partially Damages Two Residential Houses in Srinagar’s Padshahi Bagh Area

Srinagar, Feb 4, KNT: A fire incident damaged two adjoining residential houses in the Padshahi Bagh area on the outskirts of Srinagar, with the blaze affecting attic portions of the structures, officials said on Wednesday.

Officials said the fire broke out in two three-storeyed pucca residential houses, where the GCI-sheeted attic portions were involved. The fire remained confined to the upper sections of the buildings, resulting in partial damage to both houses.

Firefighting teams were deployed at the spot and the situation was brought under control, preventing the fire from spreading to other parts of the structures or nearby properties. The affected houses sustained damage limited to the attic areas, officials said.
