Kashmiri Pandit Community to Hold Protest Over Pending Relief Funds

Delhi, Feb 21, KNT: Members of the Kashmiri Pandit community have announced a peaceful protest on February 26 to press for the release of pending relief funds allegedly withheld for the past two years.

According to a statement issued by representatives of the community, the protest will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM outside the Divisional Commissioner’s Office on Shyam Nath Marg NCR. The organizers said the demonstration aims to draw the administration’s attention to delays in disbursing financial assistance meant for affected families.

Community representatives stated that repeated representations and follow-ups with the concerned authorities have not yielded any concrete outcome, leading to distress among beneficiaries awaiting the release of funds.
