Srinagar, July 16, KNT: Continuing his effort to engage Islamic scholars, Janata Dal United President for Jammu Kashmir Unit GM Shaheen today met Moulana Mushtaq Veeri at his Raj Bagh based residence in Srinagar.
Earlier, Shaheen had detailed discussions on current political and social scenario with Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Moulana Dawoodi and Jamiat Ahil-Hadith president Moulana Abdul Latif Alkandi.
Moulana Mushtaq Veeri arrived at the residence of GM Shaheen and both had a detailed interaction on polity and society.
GM Shaheen has engaged several leaders including some Islamic scholars to create a peaceful environment in Valley.
