Kathua Operation: Army Resorts to Speculative Firing, Helicopters, Drones, and Commandos Deployed in Manhunt

Kathua, Mar 25, KNT: The anti-militancy operation in the Sanyal Hiranagar forest area of Kathua entered its third day on Tuesday, with joint forces yet to establish contact with the suspected militants believed to be hiding in the dense forest area.

Defense sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that soldiers engaging in the operation resorted to massive speculative firing but there was not response from the hiding militants.

They said that the joint operation—involving the army, commandos, sniffer dogs, drones, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)—has been intensified to track down the militants.
