Poultry Farm gutted in North Kashmir fire incident

A poultry farm was completely gutted in a fire incident in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.

They said that a fire broke out in a poultry farm located in Delina Baramulla. Firefighters and police with the help of locals tried to bring the fire under control, however, the poultry farm suffered extensive damage.

An official told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the farm belonged to one identified as Muhammad Ashraf Bhat son of the late Abdul Ahad Bhat, a resident of Batapora Delina.

Police have registered a case to ascertain the cause of fire. [KNT]
