BSF shot at a Pakistani drone near Samba border in J&K

The Border Security Force Wednesday claimed that it shot at a Pakistani drone during the intervening night of March 21 and 22 near Samba border of Jammu region.

BSF said that its soldiers guarding the Chamliyal border post in the Ramgarh sub-sector spotted a drone at around 2.30 am that was coming from Pakistan. Subsequently, rounds were fired to bring it down.

The BSF said that a massive search operation close to the border area was launched after the incident to ensure that there was no dropping of any weapons or narcotics.
