Book Gondola tickets for Gulmarg only through official website of Cable Car Corporation

A day after a man was arrested for selling fake Gondola tickets at the tourist resort Gulmarg, the Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Corporation Monday asked the tourists not to fall prey to any unscrupulous elements and not to purchase gondola tickets from any other source except the official website of the Corporation.

Managing Director Cable Car Corporation as per the news agency Kashmir News Trust said that the online ticketing system of Gulmarg Gondola is fool-proof and transparent.

He said that in light of the huge rush of tourists and keeping in view the desire of most of the tourists to avail of gondola ride, the Corporation

has introduced a special slot for one hour from 8 to 9 in the morning for booking of additional online tickets for a gondola ride and such booking can be done through the official website of the Corporation.

“The intending tourists or local visitors can book their ticket out this additional quota two days prior to their visit. The booking of gondola tickets through this special slot shall be available after 5 p.m. every day.”

The official website of the Corporation is jammukashmircablecar.com.

“All the tourists intending to visit Gulmarg Gondola are requested to pre-book the tickets online and then proceed to Gulmarg. [KNT]
