FMPHW without salaries for last 4 months

Female Multipurpose Health Workers (FMPHW) working in different blocks of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district Friday appealed to the government to release their withheld salaries.

President FMPHW Association Kulgam, Naseema Akhter told news agency Kashmir News Trust that they are facing hardship as the authorities have not released their salaries last four months while they have taken loans from banks and now without salaries they are unable to return it, and also are not in a position to pay regular school and college fees of their children’s.

She further said that the matter may please be sorted out and taken up with appropriate authorities to ensure regular disbursement of salaries to them henceforth.
