An elderly man died after being hit by a vehicle in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
The incident occurred in the Paibugh Mattan area.
The pedestrian identified as Ghulam Hasan Mir son of Habibullah Mir sustained injuries after being hit by a car. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, seized the vehicle, arrested the driver, and registered a formal case in this regard. [KNT]
