Illegally erected brick kiln demolished in Budgam

Authorities Thursday demolished a brick kiln in Mulshula village of Central Kashmir’s Beerwa Tehsil of Budgam district.

Official sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that police and civil administration team visited Mulshula village to demolish a brick kiln that had illegally come up in the village.

Officials from the Geology and Mining Department were also part of the visiting team. Sources said that the owner of the brick kiln had erected the structure without government permission while the locals had complained that it may be the sources of acute pollution in the area.
